Statutory Duties and Compensation Pathways: for CHSP Board Members and Executive Leaders
With a new Aged Care Act on the horizon and new definition of 'High Quality Care', CHSP provider Board members and Executive Leaders will need to be across what is considered 'reasonably practical' steps by 'responsible persons' (whether registered or not, whether paid or voluntary), to prevent risk of significant harm to participants receiving aged care services.
In this presentation, Anita Courtney (Principle, Russell Kennedy Lawyers) will discuss the Statutory Duties and Compensation Pathways within the new Aged Care Act draft, how these will apply to 'responsible persons' within CHSP organisations and what reasonable steps and actions can be implemented to prepare for the Act to come into effect. The webinar includes a 10–15 minute Q&A opportunity where you can ask Anita specific questions to support your organisation.
Date: Monday 17th June 2024
